The end of the year is a brilliant time to step back from the day to day and reflect on the year, both from a personal and a team perspective. For me, it’s a time to do 3 things: Recognise What are my top 2-3 things I’ve achieved, what are my top 2-3 things that I didn’t achieve and what are my 2-3 learnings for 2019? I recently worked with a digital marketing manager and one of her team. They were reviewing two sets of data that needed to be compared and decisions made to determine if the data was up to date. They were both quite skilled with Excel…..and that was the problem. They were exploring creating a complicated formula that would check one to the other when I was asked for feedback.
